On April 11th, Sun Zhigang, the deputy secretary of the provincial committee and the governor of the province, made an important instruction on the materials of our school's implementation of the "university-agriculture integration" program: "The approach of Qiannan Normal University for Nationalities is very good. We should vigorously publicize and promote it." This is another written full affirmation given by the provincial governor after praising our school when he delivered a report at the special seminar for the main leaders of the Party and government at or above the county level in the province on March 28. In the new round of the targeted poverty alleviation campaign, our school has acted promptly, innovated methods, and taken the lead in trials. We have implemented targeted procurement of agricultural products for farmers in the two first-class poverty-stricken villages of Xinguan and Baika in Kapu Township, Pingtang County, and provided industrial support. We have adopted an order-based, industrial-based, and production-oriented "school-agriculture integration" approach.
